Next weekend I’m going to see Tool at Nassau Coliseum with Ed and Brian. Holy shit, that is going to be awesome. It’s their last show in the US for this leg of the tour. I hope they do something crazy and rock extra long, since they’ll have almost a month off until they start back up again in Spain. Tool rocks! Hopefully I’ll get some nice pictures from the show.

Wow, that had to be the worst concert I’ve ever been to. I had high hopes going into it and was severely let down. Granted, a friend of theirs died yesterday, but did they really need to play such a short set with so many acoustic songs? I hate Mr. Jones done all soft and acoustic; it’s fine to do that soft intro that they seem to do live, but this version was just bad. Also, they only played like… two songs with any level of energy in them. The show was starting to get a little better as they played there last song. Fucking lame.

So I sold my ticket to the O.A.R. show tonight. Wasn’t feeling up to going. I just want to get back to school. Soon enough, 13 or so hours.
So I added some more features to the site. If you click on the month name, it will list all posts for the month. If [...]
Just got back from the of a revolution concert in NYC at Hammerstein.. Show was alright.. Been to better… The crowd sucked.. More and more teeny boppers every year. Oh well. About hmm, 1/3 into the set, I started to feel dehydrated and stuff. So i had to leave from being close to stage [...]
So, the concert wasn’t all I expected it to be..
Of all the shows I’ve been to, I was extremely disappointed with this one. First off, the opening act Toothpick was just bad. Everything he sung about was weed. I’m not a fan of that and all he was doing was promoting it.
Then [...]
Yay… Tomorrow I’m going to see O.A.R. in Syracuse… I hope it doesnt fucking snow. Weather.com says there will be PM snow showers. Fuck. Oh well, I can only hope for the best now.
The show was amazing. We couldn’t find the damned concert hall for like 30 minutes.. We drove all over.. Finally, we just parked somewhere and started walking around.. Noone seemed to know where it was. So, we went into this newspaper place, and the guy behind the counter new. Ironically, the sound guy for OAR was there and he led us to the concert hall. Unfortunately, this didn’t help me meet them or anything, but it’s all good. Continue reading “The OAR Show…” »
I’m going to see O.A.R. on May 18, 2003! Yay for my third show. This time, the girl I’m going with is definately going. This show is gunna be at some small venue in the Rochester area. I can’t wait. Yay! First the Matrix on the 15th, then O.A.R. 3 days later.
O.A.R. was great, as always. I was suprised that they played my favorite song (besides Crazy Game), “If Only She Knew.” I nearly shit myself when they started playing it. They also played Night Shift, which is fuckin’ incredible. I wasn’t expecting that either. It was a very special show. I’d never felt so good to be alive at some points.
