One of my fish just gave birth to babies. I was unable to accurately count how many there are, but it’s somewhere between 4 and 7. I’ve only seen 4 at a given time, but I think I counted about 6 or 7 coming out of her.

Over the next few days I should be able to get a more accurate count, unless some of them get eaten! Oh well, we’ll see how they come out.

Update:  I have seen 5 at once.  I think there are only 5 babies total. Kind of a small amount… These fish usually pop out about 10-30 per batch… Maybe it was her first batch. I’ve read they sometimes start off small and produce more as they get more mature.
