Not sure if this qualifies as backdoor draft material, but its definitely backdoor, and drafty. Bush approved the USMC to recall 2,500 troops back to duty because not enough people are volunteering. I wonder why. Maybe because they’re getting fucking blown up and mangled in Iraq?

Either way, there’s also no limit to the amount of marines that can be brought back. Thats just fucked up and wrong. This isn’t the first time either. Around 10,000 soldiers in the Army and over 2,600 marines were recalled to help with the mess in Iraq.

Damn I’m glad I decided to have to suffer through expensive school loans rather than join some military shit to get money for school. If I did that, I’d probably be dead by now.
