Something Poetic.

Got kind of bored after waking up too early. With not much else to do, I decided to write a poem. Oh and happy birthday to me.

I’ve been waiting here forever.
When is my turn?
I can’t stand to wait forever.
Am I the only one?

It’s been three hours sitting here,
Staring at a wall.
Read the paper,
Couldn’t stand to read it all.

When is my appointment?
I thought it was before.
They said be here at one,
But it’s already four.

I can’t stand the wait.
I can’t stand to wait.
I was here on time,
I wasn’t even late.

It takes too damn long,
And life’s too short.
I can’t sit forever,
I’ve places to report.

People to see,
Things to do.
It’s just not fair
For me to wait for you.

Keep your promise,
And let me in.
I’m wasting my time,
So, lets begin.

I can’t stand the wait.
I can’t stand to wait.
I was here on time,
I wasn’t even late.

Grab my chart,
And open the door.
It’s the same fucking thing
You’ve seen before.

I’m losing patience,
You’re losing patients,
With all this waiting.
I can’t stand waiting.

I can’t stand the wait.
I can’t stand to wait.
I was here on time,
I wasn’t even late.

I can’t stand the wait.
I can’t carry this weight.
Lets just get this over,
And set another date.
