Heroes in a Clam Shell

“Scribble dabble scrabble on the microphone I babble.”
– Awesome.

Anyways, I had some clams the other day. I wanted them steamed, but I don’t have a steamer… So I improvised…

I present to you the MacGyver steamer:

Half a pot and half an angel cake funnel thing. Once covered, the steam from the water in the pot goes up through the center funnel-like thingy, and falls down upon the clams.

Fortunately, it seemed to work pretty well - I had tried it with vegatables too (at a different time). They worked, but needed extra time.

Unfortunately, the clams were not as good as I was hoping. Taste-wise they were fine. But size-wise, they were the smallest clams I’ve ever seen:

That is a penny next to 1 of the clams. That is the actual size of all of them.

Anyways, I leave for Ontario, California in a few days. Heading out to the Portable Media and Podcasting Expo with my business partner. Should be an amazing experience, not to mention the help it should provide to our business.
